If 9mm is a little too intimidating for some/new shooters allowing the compact frame to utilize 380 is less jumpy than 9 can be. Or if you just want to list a Glock 23 on your CCW as a 40, 9mm, 380 & 22Lr this slide helps you achieve that goal. Form and function are like any Glock pistol. They may ship a G19 10 round mag for restricted states, but 380 Glock mags can be found as well. Unless you can buy the entire pistol on the Blue Label program this is a good way to get Glock 380. I always wanted a .380 Glock but it is not on the CA roster and when they announced that they are discontinuing it I ordered the slide on a heartbeat. It is interchangeable with G19, 23, etc and it works with standard 9mm magazines (same principle as using .40SW conversion on a G20 with the standard 10mm magazines) although you have to use the original Glock OEM ones or they will have feeding issues. Overall pretty happy with it.
Like others, I decided to jump on this when available as I might not get another chance. It's exactly as described, a brand new Glock 25 slide assembly and it drops right on a Glock 19 frame.
